Covid Workplace Safety Protocols
St. Andrew’s follows Covid safety protocols as directed by the Public Health Officer of British Columbia, and in compliance with practices directed by Bishop Lynne McNaughton of the Diocese of Kootenay. Although these protocols and practices change periodically, here is what you can expect at St. Andrew’s.
- Anyone feeling unwell is requested to please stay at home.
- Effective June 19th, 2022, masks are encouraged but not required.
- All who attend worship at St. Andrew’s are recommended to be fully vaccinated for the protection of yourselves and others.
- Certain services that are likely to be more publicly attended (eg. Christmas, Easter etc) may require enhanced protocols, subject to current Public Health restrictions at those times.
- Hand sanitizer is available at the entrances and prior to taking communion.
- Participants are requested to maintain respectful distance wherever possible.
- Eucharist is provided in one kind only, that is, the bread and not the wine. Communicants are given direction on how to approach for communion, receive the bread, and return to their seats by a different route and consume the bread once they are back in their seats.
